Northern Rivers GPs welcome Federal Labor’s pre-election Medicare announcement

General Practitioners in the Northern Rivers have welcomed the Albanese government’s pre-election vow to boost Medicare funding by 8.5 billion dollars.

However, there are some concerns the rebates to see a G-P won’t go far enough, and should be extended for longer consultations too.
