#UPDATE: A woman, believed to be in her 30s, has died following a two-vehicle crash on The New England Highway at South Guyra this morning.
Police attended the scene finding two SUVs had collided – with one of the drivers unable to be revived.
The other driver – a 20-year-old woman – and a six-month-old baby were treated at the scene and taken to Armidale Hospital were they were treated for minor injuries.
Police attached to New England Police District have established a crime scene and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The New England Highway has reopened this afternoon.
