Byron Shire Council’s General Manager Graeme Faulkner has resigned, a year out from the end of his contract.
Mr Faulkner made the announcement to staff and councillors today, but hasn’t commented publicly on his reasons for leaving.
He’s been in the position since June 2008 and will leave next month.
