Australian softball captain Stacey Porter will return to her home town next month, to speak at Tamworth’s Regional Sports Awards.
Porter is the Northern Inland Academy of Sport’s first athlete to represent their country.
The 33 year old had a successful winter, leading the Spirit to a bronze medal at the Japan Cup.
Awards applications close on October 30, with the presentation to be held on November 26.
