UNE UNVEILS HUSBANDRY PRECINCT PLANS

The University of New England has unveiled plans for its new $6.7-million animal husbandry precinct.

It’s set to provide state-of-the-art facilities for more than 500 students a year.

It will also house some of the top research and demonstration facilities in the country, in the areas of anatomy, animal handling, breeding and surgery.

It’s the first stage of the university’s $46 million integrated agriculture education project.
