After ten years in business, Ballina’s Swim and Gym will be forced to shut its doors late next year.
Today council approved a development application allowing Ballina Fair shopping centre to expand its operation – which will see the aqua centre redeveloped.
Council says it will look into using some of its commercial funds to construct a new indoor pool.
The Swim and Gym’s lease will expire in October next year.
