There was drama following a corner store hold-up near Cessnock today.
A man armed with a lump of wood threatened staff at the Abermain newsagency, before escaping on foot with a small amount of money.
Police were quickly on the scene, arresting a woman in a car a short distance away.
She’s assisting police with their inquiries – the search for the man continues.
