WOMAN ALLEGEDLY LEADS POLICE ON PURSUIT THROUGH TAREE

A 25-year-old woman remains behind bars after allegedly leading police on a pursuit through Taree yesterday.

Police spotting the motorcyclist on Kanangra Drive – initiating a chase.

She then collided with a vehicle at the intersection of Commerce and High Streets before fleeing the scene.

She was soon arrested and charged with numerous offences.

The woman was refused bail in Taree Local Court today and will reappear on August 24.
