COAST CLUBS EXCEL AT STATE CHAMPS

Close to 250 athletes competed in the New South Wales Pool Rescue Championships at Woy Woy over the weekend.

Local clubs excelled, with Terrigal second behind Bulli in the Open Divison, while Shelly Beach and Umina were also in the top six.

Umina also performed strongly in the Youth category, finishing runners-up behind North Curl Curl.

While in the Masters, the Coast dominated, with Shelly just edging out Terrigal…84 points to 82.

A State team will be named this week for the upcoming Nationals on the Gold Coast.
