TERRIGAL TO HOST IRB PREMIERSHIP OPENER

Terrigal’s IRB Crews were fine tuning their skills for Round One of the Premiership Series this weekend.

The team is expecting tough competition from former winners Kiama Downs and Caves Beach, but Bruce Moy is quietly confident his club can finish on top at its home beach.

While fast and spectacular to watch, it also simulates rescue scenarios our lifesavers face every summer.

Wollongong and the South Coast will also host the event, before the series returns to the Central Coast next month.

The ultimate prize – the State Championships, to be held at South West Rocks in July.
