NEW FLOOD WARNINGS FOR IMPACTED AREAS

Monday 28th March, 3pm.

A severe weather warning has been issued for people in Northern Rivers and parts of Mid North Coast and Northern Tablelands Forecast Districts, with up to 180 mm of rain forecast.

Multiple flood warnings have been issued and a severe storm warning is in place for a 500 kilometre stretch of coastline across New South Wales and Queensland, as a rain bomb unleashes.

A month after the catastrophic flooding event of February, March, the Bureau of Meteorology (BoM) have said communities across north eastern NSW and south east Queensland are at risk of “dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding”.
