A man will face court today following the discovery of a woman’s body in Lambton.
Police found the body in the boot of a car on Grainger Street. The body is that of a woman believed to be aged in her mid to late 20s.
A 31–year-old man from Edgeworth was arrested and later charged with murder.
He was refused bail and will face Newcastle Local Court today.
