WILD WEATHER HITS THE HUNTER

From wild surf pummelling the coast, to rain saturating inland rivers, the low has made its presence felt in the Hunter.
The rain is loading up the Paterson and Williams rivers – with minor flooding possible at several spots.
It’s expected the Williams could hit 6.6 metres tonight at Dungog – and the SES warns there’s the possibility residents of Bendolba and Bandon Grove may be isolated.
Late this afternoon, the Bureau of Meteorology advised moderate flooding is possible for the Hunter River around Wollombi Brook from Saturday – but the wild weather has already impacted well beyond the valley.
