HAVE FUN ON AUSTRALIA DAY; RESPECTFULLY AND SAFELY

They don’t want to spoil the party but extra police will be on the ground across the Mid North Coast for Australia Day celebrations tomorrow.

Manning Great Lakes Police are sending out extra patrols for community events.

While, RBTs will be set up along our busiest roads.

“Come out and enjoy the environment and each others company particularly now as covid is influencing our decisions and public safety so be covid safe, comply with covid restrictions and compliance,” Acting Manning Great Lakes Police District Commander Gerard Lawson said.

While police are targeting drink and drug affected drivers, double demerits won’t apply.
