LAND VALUES ON THE NORTH COAST EXPERIENCE LARGE GROWTH OVER PAST 12 MONTHS

Land values on the North Coast have seen increases by over a quarter in a 12 month period.

The value of residential land grew by over 29 per cent which was driven by strong property sales.

“Ballina, Richmond Valley, Clarence Valley and Kyogle all saw very strong increases, with the strongest growth in Byron with 51.9 per cent,” Dr David Parke, New South Wales Valuer General.

Byron Bay also had the largest growth for commercial, industrial and rural land driven by demand from sea and tree changers and the shift to remote working.
