The Sydney Thunder have lost their first game of Women’s Big Bash, going down by 30 runs to the Adelaide Strikers.
Tamworth debutante Jess Davidson wasn’t on the team list, but is training up in readiness for future games.
Next up, the Thunder face cross-town rivals, the Sixers on October 23.
