Nine new covid cases have been detected on the north coast.
Three are in Taree, two each in Port Macquarie and Nabiac and one each at Kempsey and Minimbah.
A number of exposure sites have been identified, including the Nabiac Hotel, Taree’s Royal Hotel and Coles South Grafton.
Fragments of the virus have also been detected in Taree sewage for the first time.
