“BALLAST” TAKES OUT 2021 MANILLA CUP

It’s been a big week for Tamworth trainer Melissa Dennett – with “Ballast” taking out the 2021 Manilla Cup.

The nine-year-old gelding, ridden by Jackon Searle, holding a four-length lead for most of the $10,000 race.

It’s the horse’s second win in the space of a week, after taking out the Barraba Cup, last Saturday.
