NEW POSITIVE COVID CASES ON THE MID NORTH COAST

Another positive Covid case has been reported at Coffs Harbour.

The close contact of a previous case has been isolating and was not infectious in the community.

Meanwhile a young woman from Darawank, north of Forster, has also tested positive.

She contracted the virus outside the area.

It comes after a person tested positive at Possum Brush yesterday.

“Both cases there’s been no community transmission so at this stage there is no lockdown however the Darawank case is under investigation,” Member for Myall Lakes Stephen Bromhead said.

“Of course if there is real danger to the community that’s something we’ve got to look at.”
