The Moree Plains Shire will remain unaffected by changes to Queensland’s border regulations.
The LGA is non-restricted – meaning residents can enter the Sunshine State for a number of purposes, including work or volunteering.
Anyone who crosses the border must complete an entry pass.
Meanwhile, the Glen Innes Severn Shire remains restricted, with locals only able to enter Queensland for essential reasons.
