Four people lost their lives.
There are 24 new cases in the Hunter, 19 on the Central Coast and no new cases on the mid-north coast.
17 of the Hunter’s 24 new cases are linked to known cases or clusters.
15 were infectious in the community.
13 people are hospitalised with the virus and two are in intensive care.
