CALLS FOR VACCINATION TARGETS TO BE MET IN REGIONAL NSW BEFORE OPENING TO TRAVEL

The Rural Doctors Association is calling on the state government to make sure vaccination targets are met in regional areas before more covid restrictions are eased.

Regional areas will likely be accessible for travel to the fully vaccinated, once the state reaches the 70 per cent vaccination mark.

Only 55 percent of people in Byron Bay have received their first dose – that’s 25 percent lower than the state average.
