MAN CHARGED OVER CENTRAL COAST STABBING

A man has been charged after a domestic-related stabbing on the Central Coast.

Emergency services were called to a unit on Railway Street at Woy Woy around 1:40pm on Sunday, where they found a 24-year-old stabbed in the stomach with injured hands.

He was taken to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition and is expected to undergo surgery today.

Police also found a 74-year-old man with an injured head at the unit, which he was treated for before being taken to Gosford Police Station.

He was charged with reckless wounding (DV) and granted conditional bail to appear at Gosford Local Court on Tuesday.

Police are continuing their inquiries.
