WHICH TAMWORTH FACILITIES WILL REOPEN THIS WEEKEND?

The lifting of lockdown means a number of Tamworth facilities will reopen to the public.

All council buildings in the local government area, including Manilla and Barraba, will open from Monday.

Entertainment venues, including the Tamworth Regional Entertainment Centre, cinema and town hall will also return to normal operation.

The gallery and marsupial park will open on Saturday, although the local Powerstation Museum and Country Music Hall of Fame will remain shut for now.

Meanwhile, staff at the AELEC are working with event organisers to reschedule previously cancelled events.
