SEARCH UNDERWAY FOR MISSING CHILD IN THE UPPER HUNTER

A full scale search is underway for a boy who went missing on a property in the Upper Hunter.

Just before 12.30pm, police were called to a rural property on Yengo Drive at Putty, south of Singleton.

The three-year-old autistic boy, known as AJ, could not be found after he was last seen at a home on the property about 11.45am.

A coordinated search is underway, with the assistance of police on trailbikes, PolAir, State Emergency Service and Rural Fire Service.

There are enough emergency services on scene and public assistance is not required at this time.
