BOWMAN STEERS BERDIBEK TO STUNNING WIN

Hugh Bowman has taken out this afternoon’s $200 000 Wyong Gold Cup over 2100 metres.

The John O’Shea trained grey gelding came from second last to score a stunning win.

We pick them up in the final stages.

“But with 50 metres left to go it’s Big Bad Berdibek in the Wyong Cup.”

Second and third were both trained by Chris Waller, with Criminal Code and Mubariz filling the minor placings.
