GAV’S WEATHER | WARM WEEKEND ON THE WAY

The skies are generally clear across the majority of the nation.

The main feature is the system crossing the south east; the atmosphere has warmed back up for some lovely afternoon temperatures across the weekend.

A milder night is on the way. The latest cold front will sweep in across the south east. This will help generate a consistent north west airflow for us, making for a very warm weekend before the strongest front eventually reaches us after the weekend, delivering the final polar blast of winter.

Elsewhere, another dry, mostly sunny day is on the way.

A very warm start to the weekend is with us for northern New South Wales and south east Queensland.

It will be cloudy at times for the Greater Hunter and there may be a little isolated shower, as the cloud band moves north through the day.
