GAV’S WEATHER | EXTREME INLAND FROSTS TONIGHT

The Northern half of the country continues to enjoy dry, sunny, warm weather.

The southern half is just the opposite, as numerous weather system continue to produce above average rain with plenty of snow for the Alpine districts and New South Wales ranges.

More wet, cold, windy weather is on the way for South Australia as another vigorous winter system sweeps in driving more cold, polar air across southern Australia; keeping temperatures down.

Northern New South Wales and South-East Queensland will be cloud affected, after an incredibly cold start with widespread, severe, inland frosts.

It will be another cold day, as the winds and any chance of showers ease.

It will be an extremely cold start, with widespread sub-zero temperatures and frosts inland.

Clear skies to begin with, before the cloud once again builds during the afternoon/evening, ahead of Friday’s rain band.
