NEW CASE OF COVID-19 ON THE CENTRAL COAST

A Central Coast construction worker is one of New South Wales’ 77 new COVID-19 cases today.

The man was exposed to the virus while working at a job site in Sydney.

No public exposure sites on the Central Coast have been identified, with the local health district saying there is no identified risk to the local community.

The man is in isolation in Sydney, to protect household contacts.

There are five close contacts, all of whom have all tested negative for COVID-19 to date.

They are currently in isolation at home.

Central Coast Local Health District is now providing care and support to a total of three Central Coast residents who have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

The latest Central Coast case is not linked to the those previously known cases.
