$106 MILLION SPEND FOR CAPITAL WORKS IN TAMWORTH

Tamworth Council will spend $106 million on capital works across the LGA this financial year.

The bulk of that money has been allocated to roads, parks, and sporting grounds.

There is also a large stack of cash set aside for water and wastewater infrastructure, totaling almost $40 million.

But even with such a large spend the council is forecasting a surplus of $150,000 in the 2021-22 Budget.
