A truck carrying firewood has been destroyed after it caught on the Pacific Highway at Glenugie.
It took less than an hour for crews to extinguish the blaze last night.
Six Fire and Rescue, hazmat and RFS crews remained on scene to remove 800 litres of diesel from its tanks.
The highway was closed for several hours – with the wreck cleared early this morning.
