An elderly man is recovering in hospital, after a two-vehicle crash on a notorious section of road at Port Macquarie
Emergency services were called to John Oxley Highway just before 11 o’clock this morning, when the car and van collided.
Three people were treated at the scene; two had minor injuries, and didn’t need to be taken to hospital.
The other, a man in his 80s, was treated for head injuries, neck pain and other injuries.
He was taken to Port Macquarie Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
