A Sydney man will face court over a crash at East Maitland on Friday night.
The 34-year-old lost control of his four-wheel drive and crashed into a set of traffic lights on the New England Highway.
Police say the man refused to get out of the car, then stepped out only to lay down on the ground on top of the keys.
He was charged with failing to provide a breath test, and will appear in Burwood Local Court next month.
