Two motorbike riders have been injured after crashing into each other on Putty Road in the Hunter this morning.
The Westpac Rescue chopper was called to the scene shortly after 11am.
A 28-year-old woman suffered leg injuries and a 29-year-old man injured his back in the collision.
Both were airlifted to Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition for further treatment.
