GAV’S WEATHER | FINE AND MILD BEFORE THE AUTUMN CHILLS

The strongest cold front since last winter is on the way crossing the SW corner of WA.

This will drag in cold air so the above average temperatures are going to drop over the weekend.

The latest upper level cold pool is causing the cloud, showers and storms to develop over the northern Rivers and SE QLD today.

Tomorrow the showers will clear and the strongest front of the season will make its way across the SE dropping snow down to 1100m across the Alpine region.

The showers and snow in the SE will be the only precipitation coming down across the nation.

It’s a great looking day for the region with partly cloudy skies and mild temperatures bore the cold dry SW winds arrive over the weekend.
