CLEAN UP CONTINUES AT SINGLETON HEIGHTS PUBLIC SCHOOL AFTER BREAK-IN

Students and staff are dealing with ongoing disruption, after vandals allegedly broke into Singleton Heights Public School in the early hours of Monday morning.

Parents were told to keep their children home yesterday, because the school’s canteen had been ransacked, with all fridge and freezer stock destroyed.

It’s prompted the school to postpone a number of events, including a PSSA netball game.

Singleton Council has also closed the nearby Allan Bull Reserve due to extensive damage.

Police are investigating.
