ARMIDALE SECONDARY COLLEGE OPEN TO THE PUBLIC

After a long anticipated wait, the Armidale community will finally get a chance to walk through the region’s new state-of-the-art Secondary College campus.

The $121 million dollar school welcomed its students and teachers at the beginning of the school year with an official opening ceremony in January.

The general public were not able to attend though, due to COVID-19 restrictions.

Local MP, Adam Marshall has announced an invitation to the public to “take up this opportunity to walk through and inspect the end product of half-a-decade’s worth of hard work and planning.”

Attendees will be provided with a map to self guide their way through the open plan classrooms and outdoors.

Current students and teachers will also be there to answer any questions and help guide visitors.

The open day will take place on Saturday May 8th between 10am and 2pm.
