In Far North Coast Baseball, Marist Brothers have come out on top in yesterday’s season opener.
Brothers thrashed Norths 13-nil, with Damien Santin throwing five innings.
Reining premiers Lismore Workers defeated Redbirds 6 to 1, after rain stopped play in the fourth inning.
Next week in the competition, Brothers will play Redbirds, and Workers will take on Norths.
