50 FREE COFFEES UP FOR GRABS IN LENNOX WITH HUSKEE CUP

Free coffees are up for grabs in Lennox Head this week.

The first 50 people to present a reusable Huskee coffee cup at several local cafes will get a free refill.

Ballina Shire Council has partnered with the brand to encourage residents to get involved in a swap system – to reduce landfill waste and become more sustainable.

With Byron Bay’s covid scare front of mind, the organisation says – it can be done safely.

“The swap system makes using reusables more convenient. How it works is you purchase a Huskee cup, you hand it in to the cafe, they put it aside to be sanitised along with their glassware and ceramics, and you receive your coffee order in a pre-washed, sanitised cup,” Huskee Swap Operations Manager, Michael McFarlance, said.

Participating cafes include Seed and Husk, Quattro, William Street, Shelter and Kiosk.
