TEENAGER CHARGED AFTER ELDERLY MAN ROBBED IN ARMIDALE

A teenager has been charged in relation to a break-and-enter at Armidale last month.

Police allege four people broke into a home on Niagara Street just before 1am on March 26.

They woke an 82-year-old man inside before stealing his car, which was later recovered.

Officers arrested a 15-year-old boy at an Erskine Street property yesterday – he was refused bail.
