MAN CHARGED OVER LISMORE SERVICE STATION ARMED ROBBERY

A man has been charged over an armed robbery in Lismore on Monday night.

The 22-year-old allegedly entered the BP service station on Dawson Street shortly before 5 o’clock.

Police say he threatened an employee with a knife, before fleeing on foot with cash and cigarettes.

He handed himself in to Lismore Police Station this morning.
