CALROSSY TAKES OUT JOINT WIN IN DOUGLAS SHIELD AFTER FINAL WASHED OUT

After an impressive semi-finals display against Cessnock, junior cricketers from Calrossy Anglican School have taken out a joint title in the annual Douglas Shield.

The boys have shared their winner’s glory with Riverina after the grand-final match got washed out in Parkes this week.

Organisers say the downpour was so intense no one could bowl.
