Scattered showers for coastal regions under a cover of cloud as the onshore south-east winds continue.
More fine weather for the inland areas across the north-west for now, but cloud is beginning to increase.
Two forces are now at play across the region. The coast east of the Divide will again be cloud affected, with increased showers becoming heavy at times through the day.
West of the Divide, the cloud will build further and rain will return.
Say goodbye to the sunshine for the middle of March. Coastal showers will get heavier and more frequent, and rain will return to the inland regions of the north-west.
