GAV’S WEATHER | SHOWERS TO RETURN TO THE COAST

There’s lots going on around the nation, with big rain coming down under Cyclone Niran, but Niran is now moving away from the coast.

Moisture continues to stream in across the west from Cyclone Marian.

The first Autumn low is now moving across the Tasman, after triggering today’s southerly change.

Cyclone Niran off Queensland will intensify further, but not impact the mainland.

There’s more rain on the way for Western Australia, as that low will also deepen.

Locally, coastal showers are going to build, as the South-East winds settle in.

The coast will become cloudier and showers will become more frequent, as the South-East winds settle in. Swell will also increase.

West of the Divide will remain mostly sunny, and warm to hot.
