Port Stephens SES have welcomed five new members, after five months of rigorous training.
The new Road Crash Rescue operators completed their course on Saturday, passing technical theory and practical assessments.
They’re all set for any challenging moment, having been trained in Industrial Rescue, Domestic Rescue and Road Crash Rescue.
With plenty more room for members, SES officials are now encouraging other locals to consider joining the crew.
New recruitment will start in March with training beginning in April.
