TAREE TOO WET TO HOST COUNTRY CHAMPS, QUALIFIER MOVED TO SCONE

After months of build up to the Country Championships qualifier at Taree, Sunday’s $150,000 race has been moved to Scone.

After inspecting the track today, Racing New South Wales stewards deemed it unsuitable for the event – and with more wet weather predicted, it had to be moved.

Field sizes won’t change, and scratchings will stand.

There’s 8 races on the card, with the Championship race at 4.45pm.
