COLLINS IMPROVES IN DAY TWO OF NATIONAL IRONMAN SERIES

The Hunter’s Dan Collins showed consistent form in the second round of the ironman series at Kingscliff today.

The Super Sprint saw the 24-year-old race three times, with the final result adding to leadership tally.

“Have a look at this, they’re fighting it out for points, Dan Collins on fire, Wes Gould goes around as well, there’s Askew going across, Collins as well.”

Collins finished 9th, one place better than yesterday.

The final round of the weekend will be on the Nine Network from midday tomorrow.
