GAV’S WEATHER | SOUTH-EAST TREND CONTINUES ACROSS THE REGION

It was an incredible cumulus sky across the majority of the region, as the South-East winds drag moisture in off the ocean and push inland across the North-West.

Another significant front is approaching the South-West corner of Western Australia, and there’s more tropical storm development across much of the north.

The position of the high in the East will help maintain the South-East airflow locally, and the increased cloud cover on the eastern slopes to the coast will start to produce some isolated shower activity.
The wet weather, heavy at times over northern and central Australia, will continue.
South-East winds will drive in increased cloud across the coast to the slopes of the east of the divide, causing a few isolated showers.
All fine inland across the North-West.
