2021 XC PARAGLIDING COMPETITION OFFICIALLY GROUNDED

It’ll be a quiet January on Manilla’s Mount Borah this year, with the town’s annual XC Paragliding Camp officially cancelled.

Organisers made the call this week following the recent tightening of pandemic restrictions.

It’ll be the first time in 27 years that the mountain will not hold an international competition.

It’s hoped paragliders will be allowed to return for the annual State of Origin, scheduled over the Easter long weekend.
