A man is recovering in hospital after a gas explosion at Jimmys Beach Caravan Park last night.
Emergency crews were called to the caravan park just after 6pm, after reports a gas bottle had exploded.
A 58-year-old man was treated for burns to his face and neck, before being taken to John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
It’s understood the man’s injuries are not life threatening.
